Recommended: mat Kearney + RAC, "Memorized"

In anticipation of the release of his album, CRAZYTALK, Mat Kearney released his 4th single from the album titled “Memorized”. Best described by the artist himself, CRAZYTALK “mixes his most timeless songwriting to date with a wide, genre-bending set of interests. There are organic instruments, electronic samples, chill house grooves, tropical sounds, and collaborations with DJs like AFSHeeN, filous, and RAC all glued together by an emphasis on ageless hooks and thought-provoking lyrics. The result is one of the most adventurous, nuanced albums of his acclaimed career, filled with EDM drops one minute and acoustic guitars the next”(from his site). Kearney is also set to play at this year’s Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, TN alongside artists such as Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Maggie Rogers, Hozier, Brandi Carlile and more. Check out the line-up HERE.

CRAZYTALK is set to drop May 4th.

OF CONSEQUENCE: Chloe x Halle, "The Kids are alright

Sisters Chloe and Halle are a talented duo. Spotted by Queen Bey herself after they rose to Youtube fame with their pop covers, the 17 and 19 year olds are now signed to Beyonce’s label, Parkwood Entertainment and have landed roles in the hit TV show Grown-ish on Freeform (they play twins Skylar and Jazz who themselves are a gifted pair). After the release of an EP and a mixtape, Chloe x Halle have finally released their debut album, The Kids are Alright. The title track serves as a kind of anthem for the two of them as they navigate the waters of growing up in the industry and stepping into who they are as individuals. The album also includes their song “Grown” which serves as the theme song for the show. Find the full album on Spotify.
