RecomMended: Chris Stapleton, Songs from a room, Volume 2

The release of “From A Room: Volume 2” follows the May 1 release of “From A Room: Volume 1,” which remains the #1 best-selling country album of 2017 (Stapleton’s 2015 double-platinum solo debut, “Traveller," is currently the #2 best-selling country album of the year). Stapleton recently won Album of the Year (“From A Room: Volume 1”) and Male Vocalist of the Year at The 51st Annual CMA Awards and is nominated for three awards at the 60th GRAMMY Awards—Best Country Album (“From A Room: Volume 1”), Best Country Song (“Broken Halos”) and Best Country Solo Performance (“Either Way”).

Both volumes take their name from Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A (the capital “A” in “From A Room”) where they were recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb.

OF CONSEQUENCE: Grace VanderWaal

It's been just over a year since 12-year-old Grace VanderWaal burst on the scene and won “America's Got Talent.” If you haven’t heard of her, don’t worry, she’s about to be everywhere. She just released a new single, “Much More Than This” from her album, “Just the Beginning.” The song is receiving rave reviews.

OF CONSEQUENCE: Miguel, War & leisure

Following the critically acclaimed success of his previous albums “Wildheart," “Kaleidoscope Dream” and “All I Want Is You,” Miguel returns with “War & Leisure,” a meditation on the duality of our times that Miguel has described as his “most upbeat” album. The artist recently told Spin, “‘So Much More” is about realizing that there is so much more to life than being wrapped up in drama, social media and things that will not matter in the future.
