WEDGWOOD CIRCLE INNER CIRCLE EXPERIENCES
Here at Wedgwood we’re getting ready to host our first two Inner Circle Experiences! In early March we’ll make our way to the True/False Film Festival to enjoy various documentaries and conversation around the film industry, and shortly after, we’ll head to The Big Apple for our theatre experience, seeing an adaptation of Babette’s Feast as well as another Broadway show (TBD).
If you have not received an invitation, but are interested in purchasing a ticket to attend, please feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
TRUE/FALSE FILM FESTIVAL MARCH 1-4 (COLUMBIA, MO)
The True/False Film Fest is an annual documentary festival whose goal is to demonstrate that documentaries can create change by offering tangible assistance to the real-life subjects of a new nonfiction film each year. In 2017, more than $34,000 was raised to help a family portrayed in the chosen film, “Quest.”
BABETTE'S FEAST MID-APRIL (NEW YORK CITY, NY)
Babette's Feast is the classic story of a French refugee who finds asylum with two elderly sisters in a Norwegian fishing village. Through an act of lavish generosity and sacrifice, Babette's spirit of abundance transforms the village. In the world premiere of a new stage adaption in association with Columbia University, Babette’s Feast opens Off-Broadway at The Connelly Theater in March 2018.

Seth Riley, who joined Wedgwood in 2016 for our annual Good Lit writer’s retreat was recently published on Image Journal. His piece reflects on the impact author William Gass had on the art of writing and how reading Gass challenged and breathed fresh air into his own craft. Seth and his family are based in Seattle where he teaches English at Northwest University at the Schack Art Center, and he is currently working on several novels.
Husband/wife musical duo Stacey and Darren King released their new single “Inside” earlier this month. After an extended break, the band went on a quick 4-date tour playing shows in Texas and Oklahoma. After this release though, four shows may not quite cut it. Here's to hoping we see more from them soon!
