With the first Inner Circle Experience of the year under our belts (True/False Film Festival) we are excited to step towards the next, which is coming up soon! Wedgwood will be heading to the Big Apple to experience theater together both on and off Broadway. After that, the summer and sunshine will be here and we'll be living the good life on the beaches of San Diego at Switchfoot's BROAM.

BABETTE'S FEAST MID-APRIL (NEW YORK CITY, NY)
Babette's Feast is the classic story of a French refugee who finds asylum with two elderly sisters in a Norwegian fishing village. Through an act of lavish generosity and sacrifice, Babette's spirit of abundance transforms the village. In the world premiere of a new stage adaption in association with Columbia University, Babette’s Feast opens Off-Broadway at The Connelly Theater in March 2018.
SWITCHFOOT'S BROAM JUNE 28-30 (SAN DIEGO, CA)
This heartfelt San Diego event draws over 17,000 people annually for surf contests and a free beach concert. The SWITCHFOOT BRO-AM Foundation is dedicated to giving back to the band’s hometown by heightening the profile of and providing grants to nonprofit organizations that provide services to homeless, at-risk and disadvantaged youth, with a special focus on programs related to music, art and surfing.
NATIONAL BOOK FESTIVAL SEPTEMBER 1 (WASHINGTON, DC)
Presented by the world’s largest library, The Library of Congress, the National Book Festival is one of the premier literary events in the nation. Dozens of renowned authors, illustrators, and poets make presentations dedicated to kids, fiction, history, poetry, contemporary life and more. Signings, panel discussions, family activities and live music round out the event, which features more than 100 authors.

Wedgwood board member and CEO of Shorts International, Carter Pilcher saw the most successful theatrical release of “Oscar Nominated Short Films”. Check out our Film/TV section to see the trailer for one of the nominated shorts!
JOEL NEWTON CITYLIGHTS' SUNDANCE DEAL
Joel Newton, who has spoken at Wedgwood in the past and is co-founder of CityLights, recently acquired Spheres - a three part series that lets viewers explore the depth of space in virtual reality. The deal is the biggest in VR history at Sundance.
DAN LIN INCLUSION FUND
Also a past Wedgwood speaker, Dan Lin has teamed up with actress Ava DuVernay and LA mayor Eric Garcetti to launch the Evolve Entertainment Fund.
LAURA WATERS-HINSON MOVING VIOLATION
The comedic short film won Best Narrative Short at the D.C. Independent Film Fest and was written and directed by Wedgwood Board Member Laura Waters-Hinson. Wedgwood member, Meredith Witte produced the film.
CHARLIE PEACOCK "WHEN LIGHT FLASHES"
Wedgwood Founder, Charlie Peacock recently released his new jazz album, “When Light Flashes” which is currently ranked top 5 on the Jazz charts.
