How we fund artists

  • Micro Grants that are given to emerging artists who are at a critical transition point -- where a grant of $1K to $10K can make a huge impact and help propel their career forward.

  • Slightly larger grants that are given to more established artists who have demonstrated an excellence of craft and depth of spirit, but who could use a project to help them break through to the next level. These grants typically range between $25K and $250K.

  • Rather than attempt to secure tax-exempt status, individual artists may contract with Wedgwood to extend tax-exempt status to their project as long as it aligns well with our stated mission. As a Fiscal Sponsor, Wedgwood serves as a conduit for financial resources and provides support and oversight for independently produced projects including films, plays, books, albums, etc.
