Inside Wedgwood Circle: Our Mission, Community, and What’s Next

Wedgwood Circle's President Craig Detweiler and new Community Director Chanshi Chibwe sat down to talk about the heart of who we are and where we're headed.

Why Wedgwood?

Chanshi: "What makes this community so special? What was the need for it to come together?"

Craig: "A lot of people were concerned about culture, trying to elevate things, and thought maybe that's through politics or power. And along the way, people discovered, no, I think it's probably through storytelling. It's through investing in good, true, and beautiful entertainment."

Who's in the Circle?

Chanshi: "What kind of people are part of this community that you are bringing together?"

Craig: "Wherever you find yourself telling stories, whether that even could be through fashion, could be through art. And if you're a patron of the arts, we're very excited you're here, because you're such an essential part of this ecosystem."

What does "Christian" mean here?

Craig: "Christian is first and foremost people. It's people who are creatives, created in the image of God."

Chanshi: "The world doesn't need more Christian art, but artists who are Christian, meaning that it informs the work that you do."

Craig: "We're just so happy you're here. You found your people."
