​In 2007 a group of investors, philanthropists & cultural influencers started Wedgwood Circle​

Our goal has remained the same - To promote the creation of good, true, and beautiful entertainment in mainstream culture.

  • President / CEO

    Filmmaker, author, and exec Craig Detweiler, Ph.D., wrote the screenplays for The Duke, the comedic road trip, Extreme Days and directed the award-winning documentary Remand, narrated by Angela Bassett.

    His acclaimed books include iGods: How Technology Shapes Our Spiritual and Social Lives (2013) Selfies: Searching for the Image of God in a Digital Age (2018), and Deep Focus: Film and Theology in Dialogue (2019) co-written with Robert Johnston and Kutter Callaway.

    Craig’s cultural commentary has been featured on ABC’s Nightline, CNN, Fox, NPR, and in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

    Detweiler served as a professor at Fuller Seminary, Biola University, and Pepperdine University. Variety honored Detweiler as their 2016 Mentor of the Year.

  • Executive Director / COO

    Terence began his career in New York with Citibank's Media & Entertainment Group working on film-financings for the major studios. Desiring to work more closely with filmmakers, he left New York for Los Angeles where he began producing short films, helped launch and run the Damah Film Festival, served as an associated producer for several shows on the Discovery Channel and produced the feature films That Evening Sun, Not That Funny and Waiting For The Miracle To Come. In addition to his work as a film producer, he also ran Act One, a Hollywood-based training program. Terence is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

    Mark Rodgers is the Principal of The Clapham Group, a creative consulting firm that works with non-profits, corporations and foundations. He is a published writer and a speaker on the topics of faith and public life, culture and caring for the least of these. His work over the years includes outreach to “culture creators,” and he has worked closely with artists from diverse fields including computer gaming, graphic novels, film and music. Mark is also a social entrepreneur, and enjoys finding ways to help people “do good while doing well.” Mark is married to Leanne, and together they have four children and four grandchildren. Mark resides in Burke, Virginia.
